Barbecue in Kansas is sacred and something we take serious. Simply tasting good or having the perfect bite is not good enough. Our goal as a group is to hold competitive KCBS sanctioned Barbecue events and let the big dogs show up and show off.
Smoke on the River BBQ Club raises money throughout the year to fund larger prize pools for our main events. If you are interested in being a team organizer, recruiter, judge or fundraiser, please contact the Club's organizer.
As part of hosting KCBS sanctioned competitions, our club schedules several competitions throughout the year.
